The hills (and glens) are alive …

This is an old post, so may include broken links and/or out-of-date information

At the end of last week we launched a new website for Sound, the organisation which runs Scotland’s eponymous annual festival of new music.

The festival takes place at more than 20 venues across North East Scotland, so we’ve carefully designed the website to be simple and lightweight – to suit the more unpredictable mobile internet connections of the most rural locations.

“… for new music aficionados in search of the truly outrageous …” Gramophone magazine on Sound Festival 2013.

The design of the site balances simplicity of navigation with a big, bold and punchy graphic look, to fit the big, bold and punchy new music programme. It’s a fusion of clarity and innovation.

“… a browse of its superb website should be enough to excite any arts lover.”
