The Data (Use and Access) Act (DUAA) is a new Act of Parliament, being phased in between June 2025 and June 2026. It changes data protection laws in order to make things easier for organisations, while still protecting people and their rights.

Mark Roberts
Mark is a lawyer at Counterculture Partnership LLP and specialises in charities, creative industries, and technology. Alongside his charity work, Mark continues to support artists, creative businesses, and tech start-ups with intellectual property, contracts, and digital regulation. He’s passionate about the meeting point between law, culture, and innovation, and about helping creative and purpose-led organisations thrive.
Steph Graham
Steph is the CEO of GoodCRM, a platform designed to help arts and charitable organisations to streamline data collection, and manage fundraising, membership, ticketing, and stakeholder relationships. She has 15 years' experience in the arts and charitable sectors, supporting organisations with fundraising and sustainability. Steph also co-founded fundraising consultancy Adapt for Arts CIC, and currently serves as Chair of Venture Arts – an award-winning visual arts organisation that works with learning-disabled artists.
