Make the most of the new Data (Use and Access) Act

Thu 30 October, 1:30pm

👉 Register now – it's FREE!

The Data (Use and Access) Act (DUAA) is a new Act of Parliament, being phased in between June 2025 and June 2026. It changes data protection laws in order to make things easier for organisations, while still protecting people and their rights.

From soft opt-ins to legitimate interest, the DUAA presents cultural organisations with new opportunities to engage with potential donors – and grow your donor base.

In this session you'll hear from sector GDPR expert Kate Fitzgerald, lawyer Mark Roberts, CEO of GoodCRM Steph Graham, and Supercool's Strategy Director Kate Mroczkowski.

We'll be talking through what’s changed, and how you can make the most of the opportunities these changes offer – with a focus on what you need to change in your CRM system and on your website.

Great for:

  • Fundraisers and marketers who want to understand how the DUAA impacts fundraising activity
  • CRM and website managers/administrators who want to know what changes to make across digital systems
  • Organisations of all sizes that want to know more about the opportunities and impacts of the new Act
