After a number of years of working hybrid account / project / studio management roles in design & marketing agencies and overseeing lots of multi-channel campaign and branding projects, I’ve been keen to specialise in project management and working in a digital / tech environment had the biggest scope for continual learning & progression.
I’m not sure that DIY-band-’musician’ > music journalist > charity shop manager > creative agency multi-tasker is the most direct or common route into the world of tech but having that varied experience allows me to relate to most challenges that clients face and helps open doors to finding the solution.
Landing in a role that allows me to really get under the skin of a project, combining my twin passions for the arts and constructing an efficient project plan (little did I know in my student band days that THIS is where I would derive pleasure in the future) seems serendipitous.
