Andrew

Head of Client Innovation

My pronouns are he/him

My first job in the arts was a summer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005. Since then I’ve worn a lot of different hats, including writing instructor, immigration paralegal, researcher, improviser, and novelist… But I went back to the Fringe every summer for 13 years, and I’ve worked full-time with arts organisations since 2014, in ticketing, operations, marketing, and for the last six years in digital strategy.

I love working with arts clients to understand their biggest problems and work out how technology can provide clever new solutions. Working in customer-facing roles for so many years, my first instinct will always be to reduce the number of confused emails customers send about the website. But I’ve also helped organisations improve their online fundraising, improve online accessibility, and build new features to reduce workload for staff, increase ticket sales, and even get audience members to agree to be quiet during a performance!
